Panasonic GF1
GF1 is Panasonic’s most compact Micro Four Thirds camera so far and a direct competitor to Olympus E-P1/E-P2/E-PL1 and other advanced compact cameras like the Canon G11 and Panasonic LX3. The GF1 is equipped with all the features you would expect for an advanced compact camera or a SLR camera at a lower price.
Both Olympus and Panasonic have introduced cameras based on the Micro Four Thirds technology, resulting in significantly smaller cameras taking pictures close up to SLR cameras. Olympus PEN E-PL1 offers 12.3 megapixels, HD movie, up to 4 pics per second, 2.7” LCD-screen and more. The camera is easy to use with the new feature Live Guide interface.
