Olympus PEN E-PL1

Olympus PEN E-PL1

Both Olympus and Panasonic have introduced cameras based on the Micro Four Thirds technology, resulting in significantly smaller cameras taking pictures close up to SLR cameras.

Olympus PEN E-PL1 offers 12.3 megapixels, HD movie, up to 4 pics per second, 2.7” LCD-screen and more. The camera is easy to use with the new feature Live Guide interface.

Adjustments of brightness, color tone, white balance, and other image parameters such as background defocusing,  can be directly set on the screen by using the intuitive Live Guide.  In addition to that you can get quick photo tips on the screen.

The iAuto interface is a smart place to start for those with limited experience or don’t want to touch any manual controls. The camera will even select the appropriate programs such as sports, landscapes and more.

Olympus PEN E-PL1 delivers sharp and crystal-clear images.  But the autofocus is not as fast as a digital SLR.

The camera has a compact design in four different colors (black, silver, red and white), and offers exciting opportunities with HD movie. New feature include a button that enables the movie recording at a moment’s notice.

With interchangeable lens flexibility and a wide range of features, this is a great camera for most people.
