3D with Sony NEX-series

Sony NEX-5 shooting panorama

Sony has released the firmware that will provide the NEX-3 and NEX-5 the ability to create 3D. Simply select the “3D Sweep Panorama” mode, press the button and move the camera from side to side on the subject you have chosen.

The camera takes multiple exposures that are automatically assembled into a panorama.

The 3D image can then be displayed on a 3D-enabled television.
